Weight loss blogging

I’ve noticed that when I’m posting here on a regular basis, I’m more successful at my weight loss. So . . .

Not that I’m thinking that if I blog consistently that *poof* magically the weight will come off. I do know a little better than that . . . most of the time.

But there really is something to being accountable to the people on the other side of the computer screen.

So I just wanted to say thank you for hanging in there with me through my frequent disappearances and long sojourns away from here.

I can’t promise I won’t do that again. I know myself way to well for that. And . . .

I’m moving! Well not me, myself, I. But this little blog is.

No. Not to a self-hosted site. Not yet at least. But I am jumping onto the  bandwagon.

My plan is to make the move this weekend. Saturday or Sunday. Whenever I can sit down and get up the guts to do it. (I’m scurrred . . . sorta.)

My new address after this weekend will be:

Pop over . . . let me know what you think. I’ve got a lot more going on over there then is visible (cause I’ve hidden it all! HA!) But I think it’ll be good. And I’ll be able to respond to comments individually. I miss that in blogger. :-/

  1. Cool! Wordpress is what I use for my "professional" blog, but my #fitblog is still Blogger all the way. I'm still shy about letting my clients know about my weight issues. One day, perhaps when I'm closer to my goal, I'll combine the two, but not quite yet.
Good luck with keeping the blog current. For me, there just simply aren't enough hours in the day!

  2. Thanks Mel!
I whole-heartedly agree re:not enough hours in the day. I'm trying to view this as therapy and squeezing it in here and there.

  3. Hello!

    Love your blog!

Have you heard of the int'l thyroid patient petition for better care:

Only 2months old, and it is supported by over 3000 signatures from 65 countries. We are trying to reach every thyroid patient we can so, they can choose to be represented. We all know we need change and it will take large numbers to accomplish that goal.

We are also trying to unite all of the thyroid bloggers and websites to create the global network that can effect change.

If you can help us reach your members by blogging about us, we will gladly list you as a supporter.

Here is an interview by Sarah Downing to help you get to know us better:

Thank you in advance for your support,
